Free intercompany summer camp
In 2012, after taking part in the tender to finance work-life balance actions, it was possible to open a summer camp, which continues to operate using company resources.
The summer camp stems from the need to help the company employees and partners to conciliate their work obligations and schedule with the needs of their families when schools are closed. For a few years now, the summer camp has opened up to different organisations, welcoming the children of employees of Impresa Martina Srl, Maddalena S.p.A. and Associazione Vicini di Casa.
Over the years, the camp has been attended by an average of 30 children between age 3 and 13.
The summer camp is totally free for those who attend it. Lunch is also offered by the company: at noon parents have the opportunity (unique for many of them), to have lunch with their children at the company canteen; a specific lunch period has been set up to that end.
The summer camp has its own facilities, situated in a wide, specially-organised and equipped green area.

Since 2002 the offices in Basiliano have been equipped with a company canteen. The canteen is free for all employees and it offers lunches prepared by two cooks – company employees – who locally-sourced products.

Free supplementary health care insurance
In the construction sector, part of health care is guaranteed by the Casse Edili (Building workers’ welfare funds) system. For two years now, I.CO.P. has been adding free supplementary health care insurance (UNISALUTE) – complementary to the benefits of the Casse Edili – for all employees.
Family-work reconciliation projects
To the employees who are mothers, the company offers flexible time after maternity leave, in order to balance family and work needs as required.
The company undertakes to replace all maternity leaves with personnel recruited on a fixed-term basis in order to contribute to the company’s organisational well-being and to balance out workloads.
Free company camper
Since October 2007, I.CO.P. has made a free camper available to the employees who request it. The camper can accommodate up to 6 people and it can be driven with a “B” car driving license. The turns for using the camper are totally self-managed by employees.
