ICOP El Salvador is currently performing the construction of a sea outfall microtunnel in Acajutla (El Salvador). The microtunnel is an important part of the works for the construction of a power plant. In fact, the tunnel will allow the shore approach of the pipeline connecting an offshore Floating Storage and Regasification Unit (FSRU) to the onshore power plant.

ICOP El Salvador is working as a subcontractor of Boskalis that is responsible for the construction of a two-kilometer-long gas pipeline connection from the onshore power plant to an offshore FSRU including the mooring and hook-up of this FSRU.
